Degradinite is finely dispersed and characterized by lower reflectivity, more colorful fluorescence, higher H/C atomic ratio, higher alkane content, higher calorific value, volatile matter content and maximum fluidity compared with other vitrinite macerals. It would be logical to classify degradinite as liptodetrinite in the exinite group of the vitrinite maceral group.},
