The SER consists of a single-electron box and a single-electron pump (SEP). An equivalent circuit of the SEP refrigerator was derived. Its stability diagram (Coulomb diamond) was theoretically calculated and found to have a distorted honeycomb structure. In addition, a Monte Carlo simulation based on the orthodox theory for the Coulomb blockade phenomenon predicts successful single-electron extraction and injection.}, title = {A Theoretical Study of a Novel Single-Electron Refrigerator Fabricated from Semiconductor Materials}, volume = {50}, year = {2011} }
